Indulge this holiday season with this incredibly tasty recipe from the Adaptogen Science Nutrition Kitchen! Made with Vanilla and Chocolate Tasty Whey, or you may substitute with Tasty ISO or Tasty Whey Deluxe!
- 9 oz. dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 scoop Tasty Whey Chocolate
- 1/4 scoop Tasty Whey Vanilla
- 2 tsp. coconut oil (divided)
- 9 oz. white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract (divided)
- 4 candy canes (choose a naturally sweetened variation)
Prepare a large pan lined with wax paper.
In a zip lock back, place 4 candy canes inside and seal. Crush with a mallet or rolling pin, set aside.
In a double broiler, place 1 tsp. coconut oil, dark chocolate chips, peppermint extract and Tasty Whey Chocolate, heat until thoroughly melted.
Pour melted mixture on pan (covered in wax paper) until thin. Let cool in the refrigerator.
In a separate pan (double broiler), place 1 tsp. coconut oil, white chocolate chips, peppermint extract and Tasty Whey Vanilla, heat until thoroughly melted.
Take dark chocolate mixture out of refrigerator, pour white chocolate mixture on top. Sprinkle crushed candy cane pieces across the top and return to refrigerator to cool.
After 30 minutes, remove from refrigerator, lift wax paper and break bark into pieces, (or square cut if you prefer). Enjoy!
